We need a strong commitment that you are serious about your career goals and are 100% devoted to an amazing life and career change. Not only will you be going to school to become licensed in a spa profession, but also you must complete monthly assignments that will help you to become a savvy and committed professional. You will be challenged to grow in professional and personal ways and to achieve more than you have ever thought possible. Additional CurriculumThis isn't just a scholarship to go to a professional beauty, spa or massage school. The Spa Foundation isn't simply giving out fish, we are teaching people to fish. Not only will each participant in the scholarship program be coached on professionalism and business acumen, they will also be given resources for living their lives from day to day. Self help programming, motivational assistance, image improvement and financial management are also a part of the scholarship. Students will be exposed to the work of:
A monthly assignment outside of school will include reading books, watching tapes and will require a report at the end of each project. This portion of the program will further instill responsibility, promote self-esteem and create graduates that will make great employees.
